These are low key GoTri events over short distances and aimed at young and developing athletes, in particular those new to the sport.  They are no frills events with low entry fees and more accessible distances.

The final event takes place 6.30pm Wednesday 6th July at Mike Thurston Water Activities Centre, Little London Road, North Walsham NR28 0RB.

Each person completes a 400m swim in the pool then immediately runs 800m on a grass, traffic free course, surrounding the lake.  The lake is used for many water activities and by TriHarman-Norfolk for swim training each Wednesday evening.  It is a small, clean, well sheltered lake giving pleasant swim conditions.

Arrive at 6.15pm to register and prepare, you do not need to pre register, just turn up on the day and race.

You will need a swim costume, goggles and swim hat, a wetsuit is advised.  Competitors will need to run with their chest covered, trisuits and full swimming costumes are fine, as are swim shorts/trunks and a T shirt.  Bring a drink and snack for the end of the race.Winner

Results will be available at the venue and later posted on www.TriHarman.com

The minimum age for this event is 13yrs, however those under 18yrs should be accompanied by an adult (who may or may not be racing!)

The entry fees are £6 for adults and £4 for under 18yrs
Remember – TriHarman-Norfolk members if you marshal at one of our GoTri events you get your entry to another free.

You can find the Mike Thurston Centre:
From The West/North
Enter North Walsham on the A149 from Cromer, pass under the rail bridge.  At the traffic lights turn left.  Follow this road for about 2 miles (passing the local industrial area to your left), then take the second right (opposite the Quaker meeting house).  Follow this country lane for approx 0.75 miles, and take the first turning on the left down an un-signed lane.  The Centre is at the bottom of this lane.

We place an arrow at the end of the unmarked lane.
