Cycling, Running and Triathlon are essentially seasonal sports, they need to be as endurance training and racing is hard on your body but it is generally due to the short days and poor weather limiting available events. As the season closes you will need a rest to allow your muscles and joints to repair, but it is easy to lose motivation as your mind and body take the opportunity to recover. This is not helped by the dark cold days and adverse weather which also reduces enthusiasm to train. For some a few weeks pass then normal service is resumed, unfortunately for many it is not quite so easy. Read more here

A particular well done to all our age group winners, Phil Hurr, John Morgan, Nigel Arnold, Marion Arnold and of course Teresa.
The biggest well done goes to Emily Plumb taking second place overall.

The season has now come to a close for the evening 10’s with a flurry of personal bests on the final race. I am sure TriHarman-Norfolk racers will be back in the spring.
A big thank you to the North Norfolk Wheelers for their warm welcome and helpful advice and guidance through the season.
What an incredible day, seeing all the TriHarman-Norfolk racers performances at Wells was inspirational. The support everyone provided to their club mates was superb, particularly as there were some nerves to overcome before even starting. It was a cool breezy morning which slowed times a little but at least the rain stayed away until we were travelling home. Our seasoned racers went well but our new racers also performed brilliantly, many covering the distance for the first time, well done to you all.
We also had racers contributing to relay teams, Teresa linked up with two North Norfolk Whelers to get second place followed in third by our team of Ellen, Richard and Phil. Matt swam for another team who placed a very creditable tenth.
Well done to John Morgan 2.21.12, Jon Beverley 2.27.06, Ady Jay 2.27.54, Martin Wall 2.30.32, Anna Gurney 2.41.11, Phil Cooper 2.45.52, Dawn Collyer 2.47.55, Eddie Robson 2.50.55, Sarah Jay 2.53.36, Becky Hornby 2.59.44,Tessa Morgan 3.00.03 and Becky Cooper 3.25.08. Susie Towning raced strongly on the swim and bike but unfortunately injury meant she could not complete the run.
This race was our 2016 Club Championships so it was great to see so many of you racing this well organised local event. You all trained hard, many taking advantage of the familiarisation sessions and the work showed. We are still a small club but gave a great presence at this event and the performances should make you proud. We will arrange a presentation evening in October once everyone’s diaries get a little easier.
